Manatron, Inc., a global leader in integrated property tax and records management software for state and local governments, today announced its acquisition of Grapevine, Texas-based Beyond Appraisal. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. The acquisition reflects Manatron’s continued expansion in and commitment to the Texas market, bringing the company’s total number of Texas clients to 34. It also effectively doubles the number of Texas parcels Manatron’s software manages to nearly four million.

Property Tax Software May Get State Recognition

It may have slowed down calculation of Vanderburgh County property tax bills last year, but the county's conversion to an integrated property tax management software system may get some recognition soon.
The Indiana Department of Local Government Finance reports that a testing vendor has indicated it will recommend the county receive certification that its system meets state requirements.
The conversion from a mainframe Cobalt system to Windows-based software provided by Portage, Mich.-based Manatron Inc. began in 2008, necessitating months of training for employees of the county auditor's and treasurer's offices.

This project includes the installation of Manatron’s GRM Tax and eGovernment solutions. The installation of GRM Tax will allow the County full integration of critical County business processes such as property appraisal, GIS, and property tax billing and collection as well as the public eGovernment interface. GRM Tax Now in Live Production for 22 Minnesota Counties
Manatron, Inc. a global leader in providing integrated, enterprise-level property tax and records management solutions for state and local governments, announced that it has recently installed its GRM Tax solution in 21 Counties as part of its contract with the MCCC (Minnesota Counties Computer Cooperative) consortium in Minnesota. Currently, 22 total Counties are now running GRM Tax in the State of Minnesota.
The most recent implementations have taken place over the last six months. Counties included in these 21 go-lives are: Brown, Washington [Metro Minneapolis-St. Paul], Nicollet, Carver, Scott, Stearns, Roseau, Lake of Woods, Rice, Mower, Clearwater, Polk, Becker, Wright, Clay, Chisago, Isanti, Pine, Morrison, Ramsey [St. Paul] and Hubbard. The population of these Counties is over 1.5 million and the Manatron GRM Tax solution will manage more than 750,000 combined parcels.
