Director’s Message

Happy heat wave to all! It finally feels like summer time in Kansas. In Western Kansas, the only thing that seems to be missing is the windy days, which I’m sure will be right around the corner. Travis Rozean

I want to begin this newsletter by offering a heartfelt “Thank You!” to all of our current customers and “Welcome!” to several new customers, including the cities of McLouth, Moline, St Francis, and Caldwell , as well as Shawnee County. You are all members of a thriving community of more than 150 Manatron customers in the State of Kansas. We appreciate the opportunity to serve all of you.

Looking back, we have truly enjoyed remarkable growth from the small nucleus of 15 customers who started with us over 15 years ago. City Software Update
New Budget Tool in Budgetary Accounting

We have added a new tool to New Budgets preparation in the Budgetary Accounting Program that allows you to Create Excel Spreadsheets of the data used to create new budgets. After creating the spreadsheet you may then tailor the spreadsheet to fit your needs. The spreadsheet contains the same budget information as the budget worksheet that can be printed within the budget preparation section. It does not allow for capturing data that you enter into the spreadsheet back into the budgetary system. You still need to enter the new budgets as before.
