Manatron GRM Business Revenue is a module within the GRM Suite that allows for the establishment of business accounts for the purpose of issuing business licenses and collecting various other ‘trust’ taxes and business personal property taxes.

Once a business account is created, multiple locations may be created and tracked separately for the business. Each location is able to have licenses, trust tax accounts and business personal property associated with it. This design allows for a comprehensive view of the entire business regardless of the number of locations.

GRM Business Revenue is fully integrated with the other GRM modules, such as Records, and their functions for all the involved legal parties, Accounts Receivable, Information Center and Cashiering. Therefore, all transactions for the business are automatically stored and recorded.

Business License
One of the features of Manatron GRM Business Revenue is that users are able to assign multiple licenses to a single location.  It allows for a location to have multiple licenses issued to it. Each license can be issued for multiple types of business activity and the license tax is then calculated for each business type based on a configurable rate for the type.

Some other features included in business license are:
• Creation of supplements for increases, audits etc.
• Tracking of requirements and approvals
• Printing renewal notices
• Bills and statements
• Printing of license certificates

Trust Tax
GRM Business Revenue users are able to set up trust tax accounts for businesses that are required to collect specific taxes and remit the collections to the jurisdiction. Examples are hotel or accommodation taxes, meals taxes and tourist development taxes. Manatron allows for a business location to have as many trust tax accounts assigned to it as needed and as a result, the reporting frequency can vary by type.

Some other features included in trust tax are:
• Notices or coupon books for each reporting period
• Bills and statements
• Supports both annual and fiscal calendars
• Accommodates seasonal business
